ABOUT ME
My friends and family know me as the one who is
always behind the camera; that is where I love to
be. I can remember loving photography from a
very young age. My parents bought me my first
SLR camera for my sixteenth birthday, and after
that I became obsessed. This was before digital,
so I took a job at a photo printing lab to help with
the expense of my newfound obsession. As soon
as I turned eighteen I got a job at the local mall in
a portrait studio where I focused on family and
children's photography. This is when I discovered
that portrait photography is what I truly love to
do. After that, I had the opportunity to work in a
professional studio photographing high school
seniors. This experience enabled me to really work
on my lighting and posing; and sparked my
creativity. I am now the mother of a beautiful
baby girl, who inspires me every day. I am excited
to be able to capture the special moments and
expressions of others through photography. It has
been my life long dream... come true!
My style has been described as "a slice of life"; it is
unique and fun! I love bright vivid colors, and true,
rich black and whites. I love capturing a photo of
an individual's personality, and that moment in
time that might otherwise be forgotten.
